Verify a grove

A grower's phone signed a record and committed its hash here. That proves who said it, and nothing about whether the plants are there. This page is where that second question gets answered — by somebody who went and looked, and whose licence is on the line for the answer.

Go to the grove first. Count what is standing. Then confirm or dispute here — the record is worth exactly as much as the visit behind it.

1 · Find the grove

Preferred: paste the record id the grower's phone shows you, or open the link in their QR code. The record id is a content hash that is already public, so this route never puts the grove's name into this page, the address bar, or a server log.

If all you were given is the grove's name, you can still look it up. It is hashed in your browser and the name itself is never sent — but that hash goes on chain, and a short everyday name can be worked back out of it. Treat a plot name as something a stranger may eventually learn, and say so to any grower choosing one.

2 · Your verdict

You sign this with your own wallet. It is recorded against your licence, permanently, with your reference to the field note.

The reference is hashed before it is sent. A dispute can name a person, and this is a ledger a whole country can read — so keep the note itself in your own records, not on chain.

A dispute outranks a confirmation. One from a licensed verifier withholds verification even against confirmations already recorded — because you have staked a licence on saying the trees are not there, and the right answer to that is another human going to look, not arithmetic outvoting you. Use it when you mean it.

Not licensed yet?

A licence is issued by the licensing registrar, not applied for here. It records that you are a commune agriculture officer, an agronomist, a school, a cooperative, an NGO or an independent auditor — and it can be withdrawn, which is exactly what makes your confirmation worth something.

Three things must all be true before a confirmation counts, and they fail in ways that look nothing alike:

A live licence	Issued to your address in the registrar's console.
An active KYC attestation	The identity layer has to know you — request verification.
Permission to transact	Chain-level, below the contracts. The registrar enables it with the licence.
